How would having concerts solve the problem of children not having computers and other tools?

Some schools don't have the proper resources (electricity, etc.) to house 5 computers. How will you solve this problem?

Where are you going to get the money for the computers? They need to be updated every few years, and need to be repaired and are rather fragile. How can you provide repairs, electricity, and the computers themselves?

How do you get other schools to donate money if the schools now are consitered poor.

How will you identify which schools need computers, and how will transport computers to schools all over the world?

when you put the new computers into the schools, who is going to teach them how to use them?

You mentioned in your powerpoint that you wanted to "raise the teachers curriculum". You never really expanded. Do you want the teachers to be more qualified?

Would you have programs to teach the teachers and students to use technology that is new to them?

Do you really think that your "concert-fundraisers" will attract any people at all if you do not hire well known musicians? If you intend to do so how will you pay them? Even if you do manage to raise money through the concerts, will it be enough to pay for technology, transportation, and lessons on how to use them?

In response to Max's question, the concerts would be very beneficial. The concerts would be to raise money and show people the problems with the lack of technology in these countries. It would promote awareness for the most part. The concerts would be engaging, but be based on an important purpose. People would show up, possibly bringing others, already being aware of fact their money is going towards this particular cause. We would provide Pamphlets where people could look into the cause in greater depth. We would hold auctions as well to again, promote awareness and raise a good amount of money.

In response to Jessie's question, I am not quite sure what you mean when you say that schools are now considered poor. I believe that having beneficial fundraising events will cause people to want to donate money towards the cause. Schools could donate money if they are willing to participate, and if we let them know the problems that are occuring. The money would go straight to the schools to get computers to counter the fact that they have such a lack of technology. We would not ask of people to donate money without them being finanically stable if that's what you meant. We would like people who can help to realize that it does not take that much effort, and they can b incredibly helpful even with participating in something that is fun to do.

If the attempt to have concerts to raise money for schools was put into action, how many concerts would be needed to get every school five computers, and how would you go about making sure the resources and tools you managed to buy weren't pilaged or stolen?

In response to Matt L question we will pair up with groups and orginizations who already have started this movement. We belive that when pairing up with these groups they will show us who need the computers the most. Then we will transport the computers down to where there needed. Then with the money we have from are our other resources we will help set them up

In response to gretas question we mean to expand the teacher cirruculum by doing things such as putting them through a certifiaction process to make sure they now what there doign with computers and newer technolgy. Therefor when we give the computers to these schools we will know that the teachers know how to use them. Why want to mainly expand the technolgy knowlege around the world, so therefor when we get enough money to bring computers in the knolwedge will already be in there heads.

in response to josh's question we believe that well know musicians is not are biggest problem. We belive many people will come to the concert especialy if its for cheap. We belive that the muscians will want to help out especialy when we pay them with the money we will be getting form are other supportive groups as well as fund raisers around the world that we will hold. Are main cause for doing these concrts is not just to raise money but to aware people around the world of are problem.

Joe P we did think of this when we were disussing how to fix the computer problem. We decided that if a certain school does not have electricity than we will use money from the concerts and from the charities.

In response to Ryans question on how are we going to teach them how to use computers, we will either; hire somebody or teach them our selves. We know that this plan isn't full proof but they can also read the manual.
